Scottland and England Split their border but by 1707 they combine with Britian to Create Great Britian
This move allowed them to move up and down the north sea and north Atlantic Oceans
Afford them opportunity to do as many excursions as they like which allow them to reach many continents without much resistance. They were able to do business with any coastal nations.
Had strong naval fleets
Invested In the Ocean as they believe this is where their wealth would come from
By 18th Century they invested more money in their ships and guns than any other naval forces

This company was initially focus in the spice trade but then went to add on silk, cotton, tea, opium, and more

By 1820's they had influence in the indian ocean and expanded to Europe, Africa, Americas

was on increasing trade rather than power through conquest which created a rather desirable environment where others wanted to do business with them.
Their Main Assets was in Ships its was transportation a way of getting goods any type of goods back and forth.
